LAUNCH: FUTURE CRAFT WEBSITE

We launched the Future Craft digital archive website on June 15, 2026, featuring four in-depth textile craft studies. Two additional crafts are currently in the research phase and will be added in the coming months.

This milestone marks the completion of the project’s first phase and opens the way for the documentation of additional endangered textile crafts. We look forward to expanding the archive to include more crafts, both locally and internationally.

As demonstrated in the “Design Innovation” section, deep engagement with a craft can lead to unexpected forms of design innovation. If your exploration of the crafts we have researched inspires new innovative outcome, we would be delighted to hear from you.
